Dr. Block is loved by her patients, young and old alike. As a family dentist, she is committed to providing quality dental care for your entire family including General and Preventative services.
Our comprehensive preventative dental care services are designed to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We can set appointments for dental exams and cleanings at times that are convenient for you, and welcome serving the entire family within a predetermined block of time on the same day.
Good Oral Hygiene is Important
Preventative dental care includes performing oral exams, teeth cleanings and taking digital x-rays to ensure your oral health is on track. Our goal is to address dental health issues early so we can prevent more extensive problems from occurring in the future.
Regularly Scheduled Dental Exams
Dr. Block is experienced in general dentistry and preventative dental care and regularly scheduled dental exams will allow her to evaluate your oral health condition to determine if there are pending issues and to create an individualized treatment plan. If, during the process of the routine check-up, it is discovered that you have a cavity or a tooth in need of repair, we will work with you to find the treatment option that is best for you
Oral Screenings
Dr. Block and her team are concerned about your overall health and she knows that your dental health has a major impact on the rest of the body. During your oral health exam, Dr. Block will screen for early warning signs and irregularities that may be cause for concern.
Comprehensive Treatment Plans
Regular visits to Dr. Block are important for your overall dental health and wellness. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take necessary x-rays, which include digital x-rays for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth. A thorough cleaning (prophylaxis) is also recommended at the first visit.
Dental Emergencies
Dental emergencies come in many forms; including sports injuries, auto accidents, physical trauma or from an infection. Dr. Block offers timely assistance to our patients in the event of a dental emergency.
